Korean Central Presbyterian Church (KCPC) exists to be a church that worships God wholeheartedly because “the saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom [we] are the foremost” (1 Tim. 1:15).
All Stars Ministry seeks to transform rising generations, particularly middle school students (7-8 grade), to become followers of Christ to be like shining stars in the universe. All Stars is a ministry that is grounded in bringing students the clear and real truth of the gospel. The gospel tells us that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone and it is not a result of anything human or worldly but solely a gift given and accomplished by our gracious Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus did not just die for us but He died as us and through that He restores our identity as children of God. Our focus is three fold: upward, inward, and outward.
All Stars strives to be a place of worship foremost. A place for believers to come before our Lord to worship out of joy and not burden, thanksgiving and not condemnation, and love and not fear. God establishes a personal relationship with us because He loves and saves His people. It is through a relationship with God through Christ that we become more like Christ, so it is paramount that we have worship in spirit and in truth.
We are a family that welcomes all. We who were once strangers to God were made friends through Christ and so we are grounded on this gospel redeeming community and fellowship. Through teaching and discipling, we hope to transform students to value family, friends, and the church and to have a heart to love one another because Christ first loved us. Love was, love is, and love will always be the message.
It is a call and command to spread this wonderful news of redemption in Christ. We hope to equip and send students not only to faraway communities to evangelize but also to local communities by word and deed. It is essential that we have compassion for what goes outside our church walls. It is our vision for our students to be Christ-like in all spheres of life.
